Fury Fighting Championship closes out 2019 with a banger of a card. Fury FC 39 takes place at the Humble Civic Center on December 13, and will be headlined with two title fights.
In the main event, Ike Villanueva defends his light-heavyweight title against Fortis MMA’s Rashad Coulter, and Le’Ville Simpson and Will Morris will face off for the vacant lightweight title.
Villanueva (15-9) is coming off the biggest win of his career with a :29 knockout over UFC vet Roger Narvaez. Not only did he capture the Fury FC light-heavyweight title, he’s also is on a 3-fight winning streak, all first round finishes.
Coulter (9-4) is returning to action following a year layoff, but is jumping right into a title fight following his time in the UFC. Coulter is coming off a decision win over Yaozong Hu at UFC Beijing. Now, facing the heavy handed Villanueva, and Coulter finishing 8 of his 9 wins, this title fight isn’t expected to last long.
In the co-main event, Le’Ville Simpson (9-4) returns to Texas as he looks to capture the vacant Fury FC lightweight title. But also looking to claim the championship strap, Will Morris (4-1) aims to to make a statement in the lightweight division with the biggest win of his young career.
