Henry Cejudo was set to face Saul Elizondo at Legacy 25. This was after Legacy needed a late replacement for Humberto Deleon. Sources tell me that Cejudo had medical complications during his weight cut and hours before weigh-ins were set to take place, word came in that the fight was scrapped.
As more news on this issues comes out, I’ll let you know.
UPDATED via MMAJunkie from Legacy President Mick Maynard
“We received a call yesterday afternoon from his manager that Henry was on weight, but that he was suffering from nausea and was light headed,” Maynard said. “His manager, Bill McFarlane, chose to take him to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a stomach flu. I plan on meeting with Bill and Henry after this event and figuring out the next course of action. We are obviously disappointed this fight is no longer taking place, but we have a stacked show and after this weekend we will all sit down and figure things out.”
