Legacy 25 Fight Card (Nov. 15, 2013)

Legacy Fighting Championship returns to Houston for Legacy 24. Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo, will return to the cage to face Humberto DeLeon. The last time Houston saw Deleon, was for Strikeforce in 2010 when he took a controversial split decision lost to Chad “Robo” Robichaux. We will have to wait and see if cage rust is a factor in his fight.

Also on the card, we have the return of Jorge “Macaco” Patino, who will be defending his lightweight title against Carlos Diego Ferreira. Last time we saw “Macaco” in the Legacy cage, he was successfully defending his belt against Derrick Krantz. “Macaco” had two fights outside of the promotion overseas where he went 1-0-1. His win was over former Legacy prospect and UFC vet, Efrain Escudero.

Carlos Diego Ferreira earned his title shot with a win over Christ Feist at Legacy 24 in Allen, TX.

UPDATED 11-14-13: Henry faced some medical complications while cutting weight and was forced to pull out of his fight with Saul Elizondo.
