Living in the currently political climate has been draining for myself. I can only imagine what someone like Francis Ngannou feels, being in the position of possibly becoming the UFC Heavyweight Champion, and living in the US where the president is against immigration from non-white countries.
Ariel Helwani was able to speak briefly with Ngannou, who is from Cameroon, a country in Central Africa. Ngannou gave his thoughts on what trump’s recent comments, as well as his personal stance on immigration.
In response to President @realDonaldTrump’s recent alleged controversial comments on immigration, UFC heavyweight contender @Francis_Ngannou called Trump “a shame for America.” He said more, too. Hear his impassioned response below. #UFC220 pic.twitter.com/qM6hJSqWYa
