The animosity between Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo has never been higher. McGregor knocked Aldo out in 13 seconds to take his title, and has forced him to wait for retribution while he takes fights in other weight divisions.
In an interim featherweight title fight, Aldo was victorious over Frankie Edgar to become the interim champion. When McGregor returns to the featherweight division, although many speculate that he will not fight at that weight again, Jose Aldo will finally get the rematch he desperately wants.
During the interim title fight, a photo was captured of Conor McGregor standing up in the crowd and giving the fighters in the cage the death stare. Could his interest in tonight’s fight be a sign that McGregor plans on returning 145lb and unify the belts?
Conor McGregor was psychotically staring Jose Aldo down 👀. Aldo's response was classic. @MetroPCS #closerthanever https://t.co/MaxrwvBWuN
