Jinh Yu Frey and Minna Grusander Meet for Invicta FC Atomweight Title Rematch at #InvictaFC33

Invicta Fighting Championships returns to Kansas City, MO on Saturday, Dec. 15, for a world title rematch between two of the world’s best atomweights. The newly corned champion, Jin Yu Frey (7-4), will defend here title against the former champion, and now challenger, Minna Grusander (6-2).

This past July, Frey edged Grusander in a decision to capture the Invicta FC title, handing her the second loss of her professional career. Grusander will now have an opportunity to reclaim her title, as well a Frey solidifying herself as the queen of the 105lb division.

Also on the card, UFC veteran Danielle Taylor (9-4), she makes her Invicta debut in the night’s co-main event, facing undefeated strawweight Montserrat Ruiz (8-0).

During her 5-fight stint with the UFC, California’s Taylor picked up wins against former Invicta champion Jessica Penne and current Road FC titleholder Seo Hee Ham. Meanwhile, Ruiz has maintained an unblemished record while fighting in Mexico, finishing four fights inside the distance.
