Video: Sage Northcutt Stops Zach Ottow With Hammer Fists at #UFCBoise In Welterweight Return

“Super” Sage Northcutt keeps his winning streak alive with second round knockout over Zach Ottow at UFC Boise.

Sage had a brief stint in the lightweight division, going 2-0. But now at 22 years-old and still growing, the talented prospect returned to 170 pounds where he would face the Ottow. Ottow was able to drop Northcutt in the opening seconds of the fight, but Northcutt was able to recover and “hulked” up a bit at the end of the first.

Ottow was able to get Northcutt down early in the second round, but didn’t have enough energy to keep the fight on the ground. While back on the feet, Northcutt landed a flurry of strikes then a huge takedown, which set up the devastating hammer fists, eventually causing the ref to step in and call the fight.

Looking as if Sage will remain at welterweight, who would you like to see him fight next?
