Photo: Russian UFC Fighter Mairbek Taisumo Says Division Is Being Protected By Trump’s Travel Ban

Russian UFC lightweight Mairbek Taisumo took to Twitter to share his thoughts on why he can’t get a fight with a Top 10 opponent, he blames the white-supremacist-in-chief, Donald Trump.

Taisumo (26-5 MMA, 6-1 UFC) is currently on a 5-fight winning streak with all wins coming via stoppage. With his call out, Taisumo feels he’s ready for a top 10 opponent.

Visa issues have been the cause of Taisumo’s troubles and the reason he has been unable to fight in the US. If not obvious, travel bans placed on certain countries, and Muslims, have made it hard for fights to be made in the US. Sources within the organization have said that since Trump has been in office, making the best fights possible has been more difficult, especially with those fights taking place in the US.

Here are the fighters in the cartoon:
Front Row (L-R): Justin Gaethje, Michael Chiesa, Nate Diaz, Michael Johnson, Dustin Poirier, Eddie Alvarez;
Back Row (L-R): Edson Barboza, Kevin Lee, Tony Ferguson, Conor McGregor.
