Houston’s Justin Ledet made his first trip outside of the US to Belfast, Ireland, and a rewarding trip it was. In his second fight in the UFC, Ledet submitted Mark Godbeer in the opening round with a rear-naked choke.
Known for his boxing, Ledet found an opening for the takedown while Godbeer had his back against the fence. While scrambling, Ledet found his way to Godbeer’s back, and eventually locking in the choke. Remaining undefeated, this is Ledet’s fifth submission win in eight pro fights.
In his post-fight interview, Ledet called for a fight on the UFC Fight Night card which takes place in Houston on Feb 4, Super Bowl Weekend.
