Jessica Aguilar Announces Free Agency, Looking At The UFC

Jessica Aguilar went on to the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, to announce she is no longer signed with WSoF, and now a free agent.

Aguilar is considered the #1 ranked 115lb fighter in the world, but was not signed to the UFC. Because she was under contract with WSoF, the UFC was unable to negotiate a contract with her. Now, no longer under contract, she can now talk with the UFC and sign with the top organization.

Aguilar wants an immediate title shot and defend her claim as the #1 strawweight in the world, but will not object to a rematch with Carla Esparza, who she has defeated and also claimed Aguilar uses PED’s.
