Legacy Fighting Championship returns to Houston July 19th at the Arena Theater. This is a star studded card that features UFC veteran Matt Riddle and Artenas “Machine Gun” Young who is coming off a 4 second KO of Brandon Mitchell at IMKF 4. In the main event, we will have Angel Huerta and Matt Hobar facing off for the Legacy FC bantamweight title. Hobar earned his spot with a win over Nelson Salas at Legacy 19 in Allen, TX.
In the other title match on the card, middleweight title contenders Bubba Bush and Larry Crowe will step in the cage to determine who deserves the middleweight strap. Larry is coming off of a devastating tko win at Legacy 18.
On the undercard, Ricky Turcios and Eric Garcia make their professional MMA debuts; Jace Pitre makes his Legacy debut after his return to MMA this past March in Galveston, TX.
UPDATED 5-17-13: Matt Riddle has jumped ship to Bellator. Bellator reportedly bought out Riddle’s contract. As of now, there has not been any word on who and if there will be a replacement for Artenas Young. UPDATED 5-10-13: After recently being cut by the UFC, Texas native Leonard Garcia, has signed a multi-fight deal with Legacy FC. He will face Legacy vet, Rey Trujillo, in his first fight for the organization. With Leonard’s DGAS fighting style as well as Rey’s dynamic striking, this fight is sure to be one of the most entertaining.
IXFA returns to the Delta Down Casino in Vinton, La, May 18th, for IXFA 9. This will be a pro-am card featuring 10 fights; 6 Pro fights and 4 amateur fights. There will be three titles on the line; the middleweight, welterweight and lightweight titles. Although in Louisiana, being that it’s right near the Texas/Louisiana border, there will be several Texas fighters competing on this card.
Legacy Fighting Championship returns to Allen, Tx, April 12th for Legacy 19. Coming off his win for the inaugural flyweight title, Will Campuzano will be defending his belt against undefeated Chute Boxe & Gold Team fighter, Alan Nascimento. Also return to the Legacy cage, Robert Drysdale is taking on DJ Linderman.
In a title eliminator, Matt Hobar, who is fresh off fight of the year candidate against Steven Peterson, will take on undefeated Nelson Salas. The winner will face Angel Huerta for the bantamweight title in July.
UPDATED 3-8-13: Added to the card, Din Thomas vs Georgi Karakhanyanfn. UPDATED 2-7-13: On The main card, we now have Robert Drysdale taking on DJ Linderman. We also have Rey Trujillo taking on Chris Jones. UPDATED 1-16-13: After Sean Spencer got the call up to the UFC, Charles Byrd will step in to face Roy Spoon. Also, there will be an additional fight added to the card in Jason Sampson versus Steven Peterson.
Legacy Fighting Championship is starting off 2013 in a new location, San Antonio, Texas. Legacy will look to establish a solid fan base here and continue the expansion of one of the premier MMA organizations in the nation. The main card which will air Live on AXS TV and is headlined by two well known veterans of the sport. We have Pete Spratt taking on “Cyborg” Santos. Pete is a Legacy, Strikeforce and UFC veteran, while “Cyborg” is a veteran of Pride and Strikeforce and will be making his Legacy FC debut. Expect fireworks!

Legacy Fighting Championship returns to the Dallas, TX area December 14th at the Allen Events Center in Allen, TX. Legacy 16 includes Jimmy Flick vs. Will Campuzano for the Legacy Flyweight Title, as well as the rematch between Matt Hobar and Steven Peterson. With the way the entire card looks so far, this will be a great Christmas present to Allen, TX as well as the fans watching around the world on AXS TV.

Legacy FC is coming back this summer and the card is already starting to bring the heat. Recently signed fighter Jay Hieron, who is a veteran of the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce & Bellator, will be taking on former LFC Welterweight Champion, Mike “The Greek” Bronzoulis.
Also on the card, Steve Garcia of 4oz Fight Club will be making his Flyweight debut against Will Campuzano for the vacant Flyweight title. This card will only get better from here.
These cards keep getting better and better. Just when you thought Mick and the guys as Legacy couldn’t top their last card, they do it again. We don’t know which fights will be televised on HDNet, but they will be in the building. Make sure you subscribe now so you can watch the card February 24, 2012.
All I could say was WOW when I saw this card. July 22nd, Legacy Fighting Championship will be back in Houston. The fights will be airing LIVE on HDNet. As this is only a preview, the card will continue to grow. It has top fighters representing Houston. It has Bellator, Strikeforce, WEC and UFC veterans. What more could you want? Stay tuned for additions to the card.
UPDATE 7-7-11: Angel Huerta is forced off the card due to injury. So there will be no bantamweight title fight. Alex Black vs. Jared Chaffee is now scheduled. David Armas is scheduled to face Shelby Sheehan.
UPDATE 6-18-11: The Lee Higgins vs. Scotty Juarez fight is off. It will be replaced with Jermaine Anugwom vs. Larry Crowe. UPDATE 6-12-11: Antonio Flores steps in to take on Pete Spratt. Let’s hope he doesn’t get signed by Zuffa before the fight. After is fine.

The IXFA will be bringing us another card. This time they will be in Winnie, TX at Nutty Jerry’s April 23, 2011. This will be another solid card. There will be a special guest apperance by the “Iceman” Chuck Liddell. Of course Mike “The Truth” Jackson will be in the building blogging. So make sure to stay tuned for that.
