Main Event, Jose LLanas will be taking on 4-0 undefeated Mike Alvarez for the vacant 170 belt, Ryan Spann has went pro, Co- main event, Kolton Englund will be taking on Ralph Garcia from CSI BJJ Galveston at 155lbs for the no. 1 contender spot to fight for the lightweight title in September. Legacy Amateur Series 9 is returning to the Arena Theater August 25th in Houston. The card is looking SOLID with 3 title fights. We get a 125lb rematch between Jacob Silva and Ricky Turcios & a 135lb rematch between Colin Wright and Tony Orozco Jr. You DON’T want to miss this card!
UPDATED 8-24-12: The 155 title fight is now off. There was an issue with Kolton’s paperwork.
UPDATED 8-23-12: This is the Final card… The 135 title fight is off due to Tony Orozco Jr. not getting his medicals in on time. There will now be a lightweight title fight between Kolton Englund and Luis Lara.

Cage Combat 6 is just around the corner, November 4, 2011. Doors open at 6:30, fights start at 7:30. I don’t know wheather to be excited or what about this. I’m happy to be on the card, but I don’t have an opponent yet. I was supposed to take on Ryan Rivera, but he decided it was in his best interest to not fight me. I will now be fighting Eric Schechinger. He came on MikeTheTruth.com and TheCageDoor.net looking for a fight, he now has one. Much respect to Eric for taking the fight.
