Recently, I heard news of retired former boxing heavyweight champion, Riddick Bowe, making his debut in muay thai. I simply thought it was something to get his name in the press and he wouldn’t actually go through with it; I was wrong. (more…)

Whether you hate him or love him, many want to watch Kimbo Slice fight; even if you don’t want to admit it. Continuing in his post-MMA career, Kimbo Slice notched another win on his belt to move to 7-0 in his career.
“In America we say you play football, you play baseball, you play basketball. You don’t play boxing. Boxing is serious stuff.” – Larry Merchant
I believe the same can be said about MMA/Muay Thai fights. You never hear a fighter say they are getting ready to play against someone; they are getting ready to fight someone. Before they step in the ring or the cage they accept the fact that they will be kicked and punched, and pushed to their physical limits with only a referee in $12 slacks to stand in between them and the other person across from them. In my opinion, all fighters are a little crazy, but in a good way. (more…)
Ever since female fighter Rhonda Rousey was questioned as to whether or not she participated in pre-fight sex, it has been a hot topic in the MMA world (at least in my MMA world). So I decided to take some time off work, clear all my appointments, and cancel visiting family for Christmas this year to dig deep into this subject to find out once and for all, does pre-fight sex matter? Big Floyd still got some moves. After Floys Sr. tries to help this kid out on the heavy bag, he told Floyd he didn’t need any help and could knock him out.
Even though his 56 years old and suffers from sarcoidosis, he still gave this young punk a lesson in boxing. Too bad he couldn’t take the beating and had to resort to dirty tactics. It was all good, Floyd’s boys took care of the garbage.
I for one wont claim to be a fan of the Klitschko brothers. They are both great boxers, but not exciting at all. Everyone knows what they are going to do before they get into the ring.
Last Saturday, David Haye had the opportunity to get in the ring and dethrone one of the Klitschko brothers while backing up all the trash talking he has been dishing… Simply put, Haye didn’t show up. I would be embarrassed to call myself a Brit.
Here is a video of W. Klitschko simply delivering Ether to David Haye. I don’t think you can come back from this.
I am now a fan of this Klitschko brother and will watch him fight whenever… Video
I’m a huge Roy Jones Jr. fan, and will continue to be till the day I die. BUT Roy, please sit your ass down! I’m tired of you getting knocked out. The world is begging you. I hope this was your last fight.
I had a great time at the 4oz Family Fun Day event. I did some MMA sparring, which was great. I haven’t been in there in the cage in a while. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the ring.
Make sure to check out pics with my family, friends & fans…
