Legacy Fighting Championship continues it’s Texas expansion. May 31st, Legacy will make it’s first appearance in Corpus Christi, TX. In the main event, UFC vet, Junior Assuncao, will be taking on Chris Pecero who is 8-4 on a 4 fight win streak. Coming off a title fight with Will Campuzano, Jimmy Flick will be facing Rodrigo Lima.
Bellator vet Robert Villegas will be facing undefeated Justin Ledet, and MTV “Caged” star Matt Schnell will be returning to the Legacy cage.
UPDATED 5-21-13: Rodrigo Pinheiro vs. Hayward Charles has been added to the television card at a 175 catch weight. UPDATED 4-24-13: Frank Trevino just inked a three-fight deal with Legacy FC. Plan are to have him compete at 170 on this card. Stay tuned for details. UPDATED 5-17-13: Updated Card; Jimmy Flick is out of his fight with Alp Ozkilic. Stepping in to replace him is Antonio Banuelos. UPDATED 4-24-13: Frank Trevino just inked a three-fight deal with Legacy FC. Plan are to have him compete at 170 on this card. Stay tuned for details. UPDATED 4-13-13: Because of personal issues, Junior Assuncao had to withdraw from his bout with Chris Pecero. Stepping in as a replacement, Strikeforce and Bellator vet, Adam Schindler. Adam has been sidelined with a knee injury for some time. He is looking to get back on the winning path. UPDATED 3-30-13: Updated Card…. Carlos Diego Ferreira vs. Carlo Prater is added and will be the main event. This will be a fun an exciting fight. Carlo will return to Legacy off of a stint in the UFC. Also, Damacio Page will face Patrick Ybarra. UPDATED 3-16-13: Updated Card…. A potential fight on the card could have Damacio Page in it.
Legacy FC is coming back this summer and the card is already starting to bring the heat. Recently signed fighter Jay Hieron, who is a veteran of the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce & Bellator, will be taking on former LFC Welterweight Champion, Mike “The Greek” Bronzoulis.
Also on the card, Steve Garcia of 4oz Fight Club will be making his Flyweight debut against Will Campuzano for the vacant Flyweight title. This card will only get better from here.
