Legacy FC 21 Fight Card (July 19, 2013)
Legacy Fighting Championship returns to Houston July 19th at the Arena Theater. In the main event, we will have Angel Huerta and Matt Hobar facing off for the Legacy FC bantamweight title. Hobar earned his spot with a win over Nelson Salas at Legacy 19 in Allen, TX.
A recent addition to the card, we will see recently retired boxing champ Holly Holm (3-0), continue her push as an MMA fighter.
In the other title match on the card, middleweight title contenders Bubba Bush and Larry Crowe will step in the cage to determine who deserves the middleweight strap. Larry is coming off of a devastating tko win at Legacy 18.
On the undercard, Ricky Turcios and Eric Garcia make their professional MMA debuts; Jace Pitre makes his Legacy debut after his return to MMA this past March in Galveston, TX.
UPDATED 6-14-13: Holly Holm will face Allanna Jones in her Legacy debut. Jones is coming off a submission lose to Fallon Fox at CFA 11.
UPDATED 5-29-13: Holly Holm signed a multi-fight deal with Legacy and is set to make her debut at Legacy 21.
UPDATED 5-17-13: Matt Riddle has jumped ship to Bellator. Bellator reportedly bought out Riddle’s contract. As of now, there has not been any word on who and if there will be a replacement for Artenas Young.
UPDATED 5-10-13: After recently being cut by the UFC, Texas native Leonard Garcia, has signed a multi-fight deal with Legacy FC. He will face Legacy vet, Rey Trujillo, in his first fight for the organization. With Leonard’s DGAS fighting style as well as Rey’s dynamic striking, this fight is sure to be one of the most entertaining.
Legacy Amateur Series 12 Fight Card – June 8, 2013
Legacy Amateur Series is set to bring Houston June 8th for another great amateur card. As with all amateur cards, it starts off with a ton of fights and eventually it dwindles down to somewhere around 12-15 by fight night. In the main event, we have Chris Rivera and David Acosta facing off for the 125 title. That is definitely a fight you don’t want to miss.

Legacy FC 20 Fight Card (May. 31, 2013)
Legacy Fighting Championship continues it’s Texas expansion. May 31st, Legacy will make it’s first appearance in Corpus Christi, TX. In the main event, UFC vet, Junior Assuncao, will be taking on Chris Pecero who is 8-4 on a 4 fight win streak. Coming off a title fight with Will Campuzano, Jimmy Flick will be facing Rodrigo Lima.
Bellator vet Robert Villegas will be facing undefeated Justin Ledet, and MTV “Caged” star Matt Schnell will be returning to the Legacy cage.

UPDATED 3-30-13: Updated Card…. Carlos Diego Ferreira vs. Carlo Prater is added and will be the main event. This will be a fun an exciting fight. Carlo will return to Legacy off of a stint in the UFC. Also, Damacio Page will face Patrick Ybarra.

Garcia Promotions: Cage Combat 14 Fight Card (May 17, 2013)
Garcia Promotions returns to the Humble Civic Center (and Friday’s) May 17th. Like with most amateur cards, there are TONS of fights scheduled. But I’m sure more than half will fallout between now and weigh-ins.
As of now, there will be two title fights. In the main event, Trevin Giles will be defending his middleweight title against Chris Sutton who is coming off a 24 second submission win at Cage Combat 13. This will sure be an entertaining fight. Also, Tony Orozco Jr. and Craig Campbell will be facing off for the featherweight title.

IXFA 9 Fight Card (May 18, 2013)
IXFA returns to the Delta Down Casino in Vinton, La, May 18th, for IXFA 9. This will be a pro-am card featuring 10 fights; 6 Pro fights and 4 amateur fights. There will be three titles on the line; the middleweight, welterweight and lightweight titles. Although in Louisiana, being that it’s right near the Texas/Louisiana border, there will be several Texas fighters competing on this card.

Legacy Amateur Series is set to make it’s first appearance in 2013 in Houston at the Arena Theater. They are bringing you action in a 30′ decagon cage!
As the sport of MMA continues to grow, we are seeing more and more individuals looking to step in the cage. This card has some fresh faces as well as some familiar ones. We have two title fights, lightweight and featherweight. Both are going to be action packed.

Garcia Promotions returns to the Humble Civic Center for the first time in 2013. On Saturday, March 23rd, there will be two titles on the line. In the main event, we have James Powell and Aaron Reeves fighting for the Welterweight Title. We also have Ralph Garcia taking on Brandon Gauthier for the interim Light Weight Title. The winner will face the current champ, Kolton Englund, at a later date.
The card has some new faces coming to the MMA scene as well as a couple Women’s MMA bouts scheduled, that’s if opponents can be found. This looking to be another exciting night brought to you by Garcia Promotions.

Legacy FC 19 Fight Card (Apr. 12, 2013)
Legacy Fighting Championship returns to Allen, Tx, April 12th for Legacy 19. Coming off his win for the inaugural flyweight title, Will Campuzano will be defending his belt against undefeated Chute Boxe & Gold Team fighter, Alan Nascimento. Also return to the Legacy cage, Robert Drysdale is taking on DJ Linderman.
In a title eliminator, Matt Hobar, who is fresh off fight of the year candidate against Steven Peterson, will take on undefeated Nelson Salas. The winner will face Angel Huerta for the bantamweight title in July.

SCC 3 – Good Friday Showdown Fight Card
Superior Combative Championships is returning to Galveston, TX March 29, 2013, to the Galveston Convention Center. This show is showcasing some new talent trying to make a name for themselves in the Texas MMA scene. There is also a title fight. Jeremy Hardy is set to defend his heavyweight title in his first defense since he finished of Tim Buchanan at SCC 2.

Legacy Fighting Championship is starting off the new year with a bang! In it’s first event back in Houston in 2013, it’s headlined with two title fights as well as solid under card. In the main event we have Derrick Lewis making his first title defense against 16 fight veteran, Ricky Shivers. In the co-main event we have “Macaco” Patino defending his light-weight strap against Derrick Krantz who has won 3 out of his last 4 fights, including 1 in Bellator and last two in Legacy. Legacy Fighting Championship is starting off 2013 in a new location, San Antonio, Texas. Legacy will look to establish a solid fan base here and continue the expansion of one of the premier MMA organizations in the nation. The main card which will air Live on AXS TV and is headlined by two well known veterans of the sport. We have Pete Spratt taking on “Cyborg” Santos. Pete is a Legacy, Strikeforce and UFC veteran, while “Cyborg” is a veteran of Pride and Strikeforce and will be making his Legacy FC debut. Expect fireworks!

Legacy Fighting Championship is releasing match-ups for the next card to take place in Houston. So far with have the Middleweight Title fight between Bubba Bush and Noel Ligon, as well as other names like Robert Drysdale and Matt Schnell. So far so good. I believe Mick is trying to top one of the best cards Legacy has ever had in Legacy 14.

Legacy Amateur Series returns to the Arena Theater with a hybrid card. There will be both MMA and Muay Thai fights. Legacy wants to help the art of Muay Thai grow here in Houston. It is somewhat of a lost art. All the action will take place in a ring. There will be 2 MMA title fights and 1 Muay Thai title fight.

Legacy Amateur Series 9 is returning to the Arena Theater August 25th in Houston. The card is looking SOLID with 3 title fights. We get a 125lb rematch between Jacob Silva and Ricky Turcios & a 135lb rematch between Colin Wright and Tony Orozco Jr. You DON’T want to miss this card!

UPDATED 8-23-12: This is the Final card… The 135 title fight is off due to Tony Orozco Jr. not getting his medicals in on time. There will now be a lightweight title fight between Kolton Englund and Luis Lara.

Legacy FC is coming back this summer and the card is already starting to bring the heat. Recently signed fighter Jay Hieron, who is a veteran of the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce & Bellator, will be taking on former LFC Welterweight Champion, Mike “The Greek” Bronzoulis.
Also on the card, Steve Garcia of 4oz Fight Club will be making his Flyweight debut against Will Campuzano for the vacant Flyweight title. This card will only get better from here.
UPDATE 7-12-12: Robo has pulled out of the fight with Will Campuzano. Jimmy Flick and Will Campuzano will fight for the title in August on the Dallas Legacy Card

Legacy Amateur Series is back at the House of Blues! The intial card has been released. Like all the LAS fights, these will be part of the Legacy Amateur Series tournament they are running. Again, whoever wins the tournament will gain a Legacy FC 3 fight contract at the end of the year.
