With the increase of school shooting across America in 2018 alone, there have been talks of arming teachers inside of schools. By arming, I mean, giving them guns. Well, that’s a bad idea.
Teachers are not equipped to handle a stressful situation involving a school shooter without a gun. I’m unsure why someone would think by giving a teacher gun would de-escalate an already chaotic environment.
Information has come to light in regards to Scot Peterson, the school security guard at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The Florida Sheriff’s deputy remained outside while a thug opened fire inside of the school.
Now, the Cornball-in-Chief just double downed on arming teachers by saying that security guards don’t know or love the children like teachers do…. What?!
