Never go full Conor McGregor.
Bellator 187 took place in Dublin, Ireland, home of the UFC Lightweight champion and former Featherweight champion, Conor McGregor. McGregor was in attendance to support his teammates.
In attendance as a fan and not a cornerman, McGregor scaled the cage and jumped in to celebrate with his teammate, Charlie Ward, following a knockout victory over John Redmond. Security quickly swarmed the UFC champion in the cage. While attempting to embrace Ward, referee Marc Goddard attempted to break up the celebration, and that’s when McGregor went after Goddard. McGregor and Goddard do have history. Recently, McGregor was in attendance of UFC Fight Night 118 in Gdansk, Poland, and while in attendance as a fan, McGregor tried to corner from cage side. Goddard had to stop the action to tell McGregor to return to his seat.
