Actor, activist, and sometimes model, Jesse Williams, was a recent guest on Viceland’s Desus & Mero. The Grey’s Anatomy actor talked about his new mobile app, ‘Ebroji’, being a teacher, and life following his acceptance speech at the 2016 BET Awards.
Williams discussed how black culture is something that is constantly being appropriated by white society. This what gave him the idea for the keyboard app which provides the user with the most culturally motivated .gif’s and memes that may not be found in any other apps. Williams also talks about his time as a high school teacher and it being his most satisfying job.
