Fresh off of his victory at UFC Fight Night in Sacramento, Alex Morono is making a quick turnaround to face TUF Alum, Sheldon Westcott, on February 4 at UFC Fight Night Houston.
Morono’s win came against James Moontasri at UFC Fight Night Sacramento. Morono started slow in the first round, but poured on the strikes in the second and third rounds, severely damaging Moontasri’s nose.
Sheldon Westcott is a TUF alum and competed for Canada on TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia. This will be his first fight in over a year. Westcott’s last win came against Edgar Garcia at UFC 195; Westcott is 1-2 in the UFC.
