UFC 205 capped off with a historical performance from “The Notorious” Conor McGregor. With a nearly flawless performance, McGregor dethroned the now former lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez, with a third round knockout.
McGregor is known for down talking other fighters in and out of his division, and after his knockout win over Eddie Alvarez to claim the lightweight title, McGregor made no apologies for his words.

With a win of this magnitude, being the first fighter to hold multiple titles simultaneously, breaking PPV records, Conor McGregor is bigger than he has ever been.
He has consistently backed up his words inside of the cage, on top of making the company large sums of cash. It only makes sense that he ask for a piece of the company. At the post-fight press conference, McGregor mentioned that with the amount of money he brings to the company, he should be able to own shares like the celebrity owners such as Conan O’brien.
Also to be added, on top of making the UFC a boat load of money, he brings money to the cities he fights in. Fans come from all over, including Ireland, to watch him fight. Look what he did for New York City. The Irish have packed the streets in celebration for the two-division champion.
