Video: 76ers Tell Music Artist She Can’t Sing National Anthem For Wearing “We Matter” Jersey

Musical artist Sevyn was scheduled to sing the national anthem at the Philadelphia 76ers season opener. According to Sevyn, minutes before she was set to perform, she was told by someone from the 76ers organization that she would no longer be performing because she had on a “We Matter” jersey.

I’m not surprised by the oppression of the 76ers organization.
