The quickly rising start that is Sage Northcutt, made it to the UFC with fairly little MMA training. He has an extensive background in traditional martial arts from an early age, but as an adult, he does not spend the time in the gym that many athletes do.
Now in the UFC, and with one win under his belt, it’s only right that he finds a good camp to train with if he wants to grow and be successful in the top organization. There are good camps for him in his hometown of Houston, Tx, and other surrounding cities, but it seems Sage has decided to take a trip Montreal, Canada. Sage will give TriStar gym a try, which is also the home of former UFC Welterweight champion, Georges St. Pierre.
Below is a tweet sent out by Sage. He seems to have enjoyed dinner with GSP, Firas Zahabi, and a gentleman by the name of Gustav.

If Sage decides to take time off from school to train full time, there’s no telling how good he can be.
