
News broke last week that former Legacy champion and hall of fame boxer, Holly Holm, was forced out of her fight with Raquel Pennington (4-5) due to a neck injury. Replacing Holm, Former CFA featherweight champion, Ashlee Evans-Smith (3-0). Evans-Smith is most notably known for her TKO victory over transgender fighter, Fallon Fox.
Following the defeat of Fox, Ashlee Evans-Smith was out of action for nearly a year; that was until WSoF called. In her debut, Evans-Smith would defeat Marcia Allen by TKO.
Raquel Pennington is coming off of a split decision loss to Jessica Andrade at UFC 171. Evans-Smith and Pennington are set to face off December 6th at UFC 181.
