Gennady Golovkin is now riding an 18-fight knockout win streak. In his most recent fight with Marco Antonio Rubio, it was clear early on that Rubio had nothing for GGG.
It took less than 2 rounds for GGG to get Rubio out of the fight. Initially hurting Rubio with a vicious right uppercut, GGG landed the knockout blow with a bomb of a left hook.
After the fight, GGG stated he would like to fight Canelo Alvarez or Miguel Cotto.
