Mike, I think Anderson cares about the Brazilians more than he does other fighters. It seemed when he fought Maia that he was disappointed at him for not challenging Anderson. He got frustrated and decided he would get no glory from taking Maia out so he didn’t. I also think he doesn’t want to embarrass any Brazilians. Anderson is on another level and I believe he feels bad for beating up lesser Brazilian fighters. I’ve never seen him act weirdly toward any fighter other than Brazilians.
