Video: Roy Jones Jr. Defeated Someone’s Sparring Partner In His Final Fight On UFC Fight Pass at #IslandFights46

Roy Jones Jr. has finally ended his boxing career, finishing with a record of 65-10, and 47 KOs.

RJJ headlined Island Fights 46 against Scott Sigmon (30-11-1), and looked like vintage Roy Jones Jr. Not because the 49-year-old found the fountain of youth, it was just that Sigmon was that bad.

From the opening bell it was target practice for Roy. He was the quicker and faster man, landing flush shots that eventually cut open Sigmon’s nose. There were moments during the fight where RJJ took off and allowed Sigmon to tire himself out with punches, but overall, he dictated the pace of the fight.

RJJ went the distant, capturing some random German title. During his post fight interview and because the fights were shown on UFC Fight Pass, RJJ told Dana White he would come out of retirement for a fight with former UFC Middleweight Champion, Anderson Silva.
