The UFC is coming back to Texas and the card is shaping up to be very intriguing. The State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas will play host to UFC: Fight Night 94 on September 17. Officials have confirmed the headlining bout for the event will be Dustin Poirier vs Michael Johnson, and the co-main event being Uriah Hall vs Derek Brunson.
Dustin Poirier has been on a hot streak since moving back to the lightweight division and is coming into this bout on a 4 fight win streak. Michael Johnson is coming into this fight on the other end of the spectrum, riding a 2 skid.
The other confirmed fight for the card, a middleweight bout between Derek Brunson and Uriah Hall. Brunson, having to pull out from his fight with Gegard Mousasi at 200, is looking for his 5th consecutive win. To do so, he will have to beat Uriah Hall. These two are looking to settle a beef that stems from social media. Stay tuned for updates on the card.
