Bellator Fighter Jordan Parsons Has Passed Away From Injuries Suffered During Hit-And-Run Accident

Early Sunday morning, Bellator fighter Jordan Parsons was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Delray Beach, FL. Because of the injuries sustained, Parsons had to one of his legs amputated, and also had to undergo a splenectomy. Parsons had remained in critical condition until today.

BellatorMMA’s Scott Coker released this statement:

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a dear member of the Bellator family, Jordan Parsons,” Bellator President Scott Coker said in a statement. “Jordan was an exceptional athlete and a rising star in the sport. But more importantly, he was an exceptional young man. Jordan was hard-working, dedicated, intelligent, and a pleasure to be around. He represented all the reasons we love this sport. It is a terribly tragic loss and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and teammates.”

 

Hopefully the person responsible is found and charged accordingly for this heinous crime.
