Jon Jones Responses To Daniel Cormier Offering OSP Training at AKA

The second fight between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier was supposed to take place at UFC 197, but with a DC injury, the fight has been put on hold, maybe. Ovince Saint Preux will step in on three weeks notice to face the former champ, for the interim title.

All three fighters in this triangle went on to Ariel Helwani’s ‘The MMA Hour’ to discuss the details in regards to the fight, and things that led to it getting signed. While DC was on, he mentioned that he would be open to OSP coming to train at AKA in preparation for his title fight and that he could basically finish up his training camp. DC offered to give OSP an all-expense paid trip, including travel, room and board, etc. OSP came on and respectfully declined the offer, citing that his camp is game planning well enough for the fight.

Ariel mentioned the offer to Jon Jones during his segment, and Jon went full heel in his rant. Afte the interview, Jon took to Twitter to take a “subliminal” shot at DC (I post a screen shot because we know how Jon likes to delete tweets).
