“Cyborg” Still Looking To Fight Rousey And Give The Fans What They Want

Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia both entered the octagon undefeated, but it was Ronda Rousey who left they same way she went in.

No longer is Ronda Rousey known for her patented armbar submission. She is currently on a tear, knocking her opponents out. The Bethe Correia knockout came in just 34 seconds. This brings her cage time in her past 4 fights to a grand total of 2:10.

With this win, she will now defend her title against recent #1 contender winner, Miesha Tate. This will be the third fight between the two; Tate is the only woman to take Rousey out of the first round.

There are many who don’t want to see the trilogy between Rousey and Tate, this would include Cris “Cyborg”. Many fans are feel this is the only woman who can defeat the champion. The only problem, “Cyborg” has never fought at 135lb. After Rousey defeated Correia, “Cyborg” tweeted her next fight will be at 140lb, and that she hopes to make the fight happen and to give the fans what they all want.

Will “Cyborg” be able to make 140, let alone 135? Only time will tell. But the way Ronda Rousey is destroying her opponents, “Cyborg” needs to make it sooner, rather than later. There aren’t many fights left for Rousey if she gets past Tate in their upcoming fight.
