I’m not sure if Alex McCooke just wanted a facebook profile picture of what, but as soon as the opening bell sounded, he tapped the ground to signal he didn’t want to fight.

The ref should have allowed the fight between James Gallagher and McCooke to continue. Make the tap out worth it.
