Legacy Fighting Championship is starting off the new year with a bang! In it’s first event back in Houston in 2013, it’s headlined with two title fights as well as solid under card. In the main event we have Derrick Lewis making his first title defense against 16 fight veteran, Ricky Shivers . In the co-main event we have “Macaco” Patino defending his light-weight strap against Derrick Krantz who has won 3 out of his last 4 fights, including 1 in Bellator and last two in Legacy . Legacy FC is coming back this summer and the card is already starting to bring the heat. Recently signed fighter Jay Hieron, who is a veteran of the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce & Bellator, will be taking on former LFC Welterweight Champion, Mike “The Greek” Bronzoulis.
UPDATE 7-12-12: Robo has pulled out of the fight with Will Campuzano. Jimmy Flick and Will Campuzano will fight for the title in August on the Dallas Legacy Card Here’s the most recent card; Mike Bronzoulis is injured and Legacy is looking for a replacement for Jay Hieron. There is also a heavyweight and bantamweight fight added to the card. Noel Ligon & Artenas Young’s opponents were injured so they will now face each other at 185lbs. Edgar Verdin will step in for an injured Patrick Bierschwhale to face Lester Batres.
