Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz put on a great performance in their sequel bout. In a post-fight discussion, Jonathan Coachman and Frankie Edgar reported on ESPN that McGregor broke his foot during the fight. This shouldn’t be a surprise when you have a fighter not accustomed to throwing leg kicks, and during this fight, threw a surprisingly high amount.
With a broken foot, there is no telling how long McGregor will be out of competition. With Dana White already suggesting that McGregor would be going back to 145lb to defend his title, or vacate it, there is no telling when the third fight would take place, if it would take place at all.
