With Jon Jones out of UFC 200 for his anti-doping violation, the UFC has been scrambling to find an opponent for Daniel Cormier. Several fighters have thrown their names in the hat, but one name has come out of nowhere, Anderson Silva.
“The Spider” posted a custom UFC 200 image on his Instagram, hinting that he may be the one who will step in to face DC at UFC 200. Dana White has denied these reports, but you never know.
Silva is coming off of a controversial loss, to the now current UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping, at UFC Fight Night 84. Stay tuned to see who the UFC selects for DC, if they select anyone at all.
