I don’t know what is going on, and really don’t care. All I know is that I’m enjoying the Conor McGregor ride.
After Conor McGregor announced his retirement from MMA, many people began to speculate the reason as to what would cause him to consider such a drastic move. It later came out from Dana White that Conor was pulled from his UFC 200 main event fight with Nate Diaz because Conor didn’t want to participate in any of the promotional work, and wanted to continue training in Iceland.
At the UFC 200 press conference, Dana White stated that Conor McGregor was off the card and that Nate Diaz would have a new opponent. Diaz responded with he was fighting McGregor or going on vacation.
Now, according to Conor via a late night tweet, he’s back on the card.
Happy to announce that I am BACK on UFC 200!
Shout out to @danawhite and @lorenzofertitta on getting this one done for the fans. #Respect— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 25, 2016
Now, we just wait for an official statement from the UFC, or a fresh promo video.
