Garcia Promotions is returning to the Humble Civic Center on May 14 for Cage Combat 24. The amateur card will feature two title fights. Melvin Giron (5-2) and Craig Grove (4-1) will face off for the vacant lightweight title. Giron earned his shot with a win at Cage Combat 23, when he stopped Dayron Vasquez in the first round.
Alonso Sanchez (6-1) will make his first defense of the Garcia Promotions’ featherweight title when he takes on Josh Altum (4-1). Sanchez won the title at Cage Combat 23, defeating Gustavo Gomez with a first round submission. Altum earned his shot with a first round submission over Kyle Villarreal at Cage Combat 23.
