When you’re looking to separate yourself from the rest of the pack, you sometimes have to think out of the box. There is an abundance of lawyer advertisements in Texas. I personally see them on TV, on the radio, and billboards when driving on freeways.
When selecting a lawyer to defend you, if you don’t have a recommendation from someone you know, all you can go off of are ads. A Fort Worth-based criminal trial lawyer, the “Texas Law Hawk” Bryan Wilson, has released one of the most outlandish commercials you’ll ever see. There are explosions, mini-bikes, luchador mask, a hawk, and much more.
The YouTube clips are deafening, over-the-top and intense. Wilson, a 29-year-old graduate of Texas Tech University, said the obnoxious advertisement has paid off. He told a local CBS affiliate in East Texas that he’s received hundreds of calls and voicemails about the ad since debuting the spot Tuesday.
In the past, he’s released similar commercials that are (slightly) calmer than his latest iteration. The latest spot for the Law Hawk – a nickname he earned in college – has more than 369,000 views as of Thursday afternoon.
