Quinton “Rampage” Jackson now has a new home in Bellator. Announced today via MMAJunkie, “Rampage” Jackson has signed a deal with Bellator that also includes a deal with TNA Wrestling which is also shown on Spike TV. This is the largest signing to date for Bellator.
There was word that he would not sign with Bellator because they couldn’t come to an agreement. Also, WSoF said they couldn’t afford him. The front runner for was OneFC based out of Asia; “Rampage” has a huge following in Asia from his Pride days, this would have seemed like the logical choice.
A deal was reportedly figured out, and on Wednesday there will be a press conference held where “Rampage” will be in attendance and details of his contract will be reveled. “Rampage” told TMZ, “When you look at my deal in the UFC, and the scope of what my deal with Bellator and TNA is, this is a dream come true.”
He also added, “When other fighters get the chance to see everything I’m able to do with this deal and the benefits it provides, you’re going to see a big change in MMA. I guarantee it.”
