Legacy Fighting Alliance is heading back to the The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Tx for LFA 73. The card will be headlining with a bantamweight rematch between two title contenders, Levi Mowles and Adrian Yanez. And a feature fight on the card, two of the sport’s top female prospects, Hailey Cowan will face California’s Lisa Mauldin.
In the main event, Mowles (11-4) is looking to go up 2-0 over Adrian Yanez. In Noveber 2014, the 19-year-old Mowles made his pro debut under the Legacy Fighting Championship banner, where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Yanez.
Now, nearly 5 years to the date, Yanez (8-3) looks to show his growth as a fighter, and to get his first pro loss back. Yanez has had an impressive career on the regional circuit, and a win under the LFA banner will put him that much closer to his goal of making it to the big show. The same can be said for Mowles, who’s also on the cusp of leveling up.
The feature fight of LFA 73 will see a flyweight showdown between two of the top WMMA prospects. The wildly popular Hailey Cowan (3-1) returns after steamrolling her last three opponents inside the LFA Octagon. She will face Lisa Mauldin (3-1), who is a talented Californian with a reputation for playing spoiler against hometown favorites.
LFA 73: Mowles vs Yanez 2 takes place Friday, August 2nd at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas. The entire main card will be televised live on AXS TV at 8 pm CT.
