Fury Fighting Championship closes out 2017 back home at the Humble Civic Center. Taking place on December 16, Fury FC 21 will be headlined with two high level strikers. Will Morris steps up to face Charlie Ontiveros in a welterweight matchup.
Ontiveros (9-5) is coming off a TKO victory over CJ Hancock at LFA 26. Will Morris (1-0) successfully made his pro MMA debut at Fury FC 18, submitted Derrick Ageday with a triangle choke. Morris will bring his muay thai/kickboxing pedigree to the table against Ontiveros’ karate style. This will make for an exciting striking match that most likely will not go to a decision.
Co-headlining the card, Peter Stanonik (6-2) takes on Houston’s Jake Heffernan (4-0-1) in a featherweight matchup. Stanonik is currently ridding a 4-fight winning streak with his past two wins coming via knockout. Heffernan’s most recent win was a decision over Colin Wright at Fury FC 18.
