It was reported by Wanderlei Silva’s Facebook page, that he was hit by a car while riding his bike home from a workout. Through the translation, it seems as if it was his shoulder that was injured, and he will need surgery.
Wanderlei Silva is currently serving a suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission until 2017 for evading a drug test in 2014. Silva signed with Bellator and could possibly fight outside of the US. At 39 years old and a limited amount of time left in his fight career, there’s no telling if he will fight again.
