Two undefeated fighters stepped into the Bellator cage on the Bellator 151 undercard, and it was a gritty fight.
Houston’s own Ricky Turcios (5-0), made his Bellator debut against Steve Garcia (6-0), and if you’ve seen a Ricky Turcios, it was just that.
Steve Garcia was able to get the better on the feet, but Turcios’ constant pressure slowed Garcia down over the course of the fight. Turcios used his wrestling to get the fight to the ground and dictated the pace of the fight.
Turcios would go on to earn the split decision win (29-28, 28-29, 30-27), remain undefeated, and give Garcia his first loss.
