Video: K-1 World MAX Champion Andy Souwer KO’s Opponent In MMA Debut At Rizin

I honestly had no clue that Andy Souwer would be making his MMA debut at Rizin. The K-1 Champion faced Yuichiro Nagashima (4-2), and he was able to finish the fight with body shots.

Early in the fight, Nagashima was able to get the fight to the ground, but Souwer was able to defend the leg lock attempts. After landing some hard shots on the ground, Souwer was eventually able to get the fight back standing, and finish his opponent.

Japanese MMA is known for putting on crazy fights on their New Years Eve shows. So there’s no clue if this was a one and done for Souwer, or he’ll return to MMA.
