Savarese Promotions and Muay Thai Kingdom co-promoted the Bayou Throwdown this past Saturday night. The card was a hybrid MMA/Muay Thai event. I was in attendance to provide coverage of the event, but was not allowed. When I asked what the reason was, being that I have covered Houston MMA and Muay Thai for several years, I was told, “we don’t need you.” So unfortunately, I don’t have much to report; these photos are the extent of my coverage. I want to apologize to all the readers that have come searching for Bayou Throwdown info.
In the meantime, I look forward to the return of Garcia Promotions. Cage Combat 16 takes place at the Humble Convention Center, September 27th. Here is the current fight card. Also, tickets are available here, at MikeTheTruth.com.
