Depending on what circle you’re in, Fedor Emelianenko is an MMA god. Fedor, now retired, focuses more on being an ambassador for the sport of MMA in his home country of Russia. Thanks to MixedMartialArts.com and UGer “touch”, here’s an exert translation from the interview.

“I respect the girls who defend the country’s honor at the Olympics, in wrestling, boxing… But I do not support female MMA. A woman must be a domestic goddess, raise her children and be feminine. There a lot of different sports which help her in that. But MMA is not one of them.”

I think Fedor is simply trying to say that women should stay in the kitchen, my Russian may be a little off though.

What are your thoughts on Fedor’s opinion of Women’s MMA?
